This Returns, Refunds and Warranty Policy is provided by YARI Robotics Private Limited (“YARI Robotics”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By purchasing products from our website or requesting after-sales support, you agree to the terms stated in this policy.
This policy should be read together with our Terms of Service and Shipping Policy. If there is a conflict between this policy and any product-specific written warranty terms, the product-specific written terms will apply to that product.
Order Cancellation Before Dispatch
The best time to cancel an order is before it is shipped. If you want to cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible. Once an order has been shipped, cancellation may no longer be possible and the shipment/return terms below will apply.
No General Returns After Delivery
We do not accept general returns or exchanges after delivery for buyer’s remorse, change of mind, compatibility assumptions, or accidental ordering. Warranty-related issues must be handled through the RMA process described below.
Failed Delivery, Incorrect Address, Or Buyer Unavailability
If a shipment is not delivered because the customer provided incorrect delivery details, could not be contacted, was unavailable, refused delivery, or did not complete required delivery formalities, the logistics provider may return the shipment to us.
After we physically receive and inspect the returned product, if the product is in good condition, we will refund only the product value. Shipping charges are non-refundable. If the order was shipped under a free delivery option, the actual outbound shipping cost may be deducted from the product refund.
Any re-delivery, return-to-origin, customs, duties, taxes, storage, handling, or carrier charges caused by incorrect information or customer unavailability may be recovered from the customer or deducted from any eligible refund, to the extent permitted by law.
Refund Method And Timeline
Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method unless we agree otherwise in writing. Refunds are initiated only after we physically receive the returned item and complete inspection/QC.
Estimated refund timeline is 7-10 business days after refund approval. Actual credit timelines may vary based on the payment gateway, bank, card network, and destination country. Shipping, handling, payment gateway charges, bank charges, duties, taxes, and customs charges are non-refundable unless required by law or agreed by us in writing.
Limited Product Warranty
YARI Robotics products carry a limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for the warranty period stated on the product page, invoice, or product documentation. If no separate warranty period is stated, the warranty period is 6 months from the date of purchase.
Warranty applies only to the original purchaser or to a registered eligible end user where warranty registration is required. Proof of purchase, invoice, or receipt may be required. For products purchased through distributors or resellers, warranty eligibility may require warranty registration and valid proof of purchase.
Warranty Registration
We may introduce a warranty registration form on the website. This will be especially important for products sold through distributors, resellers, or offline channels. Where warranty registration is required, the customer may need to provide product details, serial number where applicable, purchase date, seller details, and proof of purchase.
Warranty may not be available for distributor/reseller purchases that are not registered within the required process or where proof of purchase cannot be verified.
Warranty Exclusions
Warranty does not apply where the issue is caused by misuse, abuse, incorrect installation, incorrect wiring, incorrect voltage/current, reverse polarity, unsuitable power supply, crash damage, physical damage, water or liquid exposure, corrosion, electrostatic discharge (ESD), overheating, modification, unauthorized repair, tampering, use outside specifications, or failure to follow documentation/instructions.
Warranty stickers, seals, serial labels, or other identification/security markings must be intact and not removed, damaged, altered, or tampered with. If warranty stickers or identification markings are missing or damaged, the warranty claim may be rejected.
YARI Robotics does not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation, compatibility with every third-party system, or suitability for every customer-specific use case unless expressly agreed in writing.
RMA Process For Warranty Claims
Warranty claims must be initiated through our Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) process. The RMA form is not yet implemented on the website. Until it is available, please contact us using the contact details below with your order number, product details, issue description, photos/videos where relevant, and proof of purchase.
No product should be sent back to us without written confirmation or RMA approval from YARI Robotics. We will not be responsible for products sent to us without approval, without a valid RMA reference, or to an incorrect address.
After the RMA is approved, either a pickup may be arranged from your location if doorstep pickup is available and selected, or a return address will be shared so that you can ship the item to our warehouse/service location.
Before handing over the product to the courier, the item must be packed properly, preferably in the original packaging, with sufficient protection to prevent transit damage. Transit damage caused by inadequate return packaging may lead to rejection of the RMA claim or additional charges.
Inspection And QC
Upon receipt of the product, we will inspect and run quality checks (QC). RMA approval to send a product to us does not guarantee repair, replacement, or refund. Final decision will be based on inspection, QC findings, warranty eligibility, product condition, and applicable law.
If QC confirms a valid warranty issue, we may repair the product or replace it with a new or refurbished equivalent product, at our discretion. Refunds are not the default remedy for warranty claims unless repair or replacement is not reasonably possible, required by law, or specifically approved by YARI Robotics in writing.
If QC fails or the issue is not covered under warranty, the claim may be rejected. The product may be shipped back to the customer at the customer’s cost. We may also provide a paid repair/replacement estimate where feasible.
Replacement Warranty
Any repaired or replacement product will be covered for the remaining period of the original warranty or 30 days from the date of return shipment/re-delivery, whichever is longer. A replacement does not restart the original warranty period unless we expressly state otherwise in writing.
If a repaired or replacement product also fails within the applicable warranty coverage, it must be submitted through the RMA process again. We will inspect it and determine the appropriate remedy under this policy.
Non-Returnable And Excluded Product Categories
The following product categories are not eligible for general return or exchange unless required by law or expressly approved by YARI Robotics in writing:
- Cables, connectors, passives, and consumable accessories.
- Third-party products, modules, or components, including but not limited to products such as NVIDIA modules, Raspberry Pi products, or other non-YARI branded products.
- Products damaged due to installation, integration, testing, flight/field use, crash, liquid exposure, ESD, modification, or misuse.
- Products returned without approval, without an RMA reference, without required accessories, or in unsuitable packaging.
Return Shipping Costs
Unless we agree otherwise in writing, the customer is responsible for shipping the product to us for RMA/warranty evaluation. If doorstep pickup is offered, any pickup charges or reverse-shipping charges will be communicated during the RMA process.
If the claim is approved as a valid warranty issue, return shipment of the repaired/replacement item may be handled by YARI Robotics unless otherwise communicated. If the claim is rejected, return shipping to the customer will be at the customer’s cost.
