FAQ

Answers to common questions about YARI Robotics launch timing, product availability, shipping, payments, documentation, warranty, and technical support.

When is YARI Robotics launching?

YARI Robotics is planning its India and global launch in August 2026. We will open the YARI V6X Flight Controller for pre-order first. Other products have completed R&D and will be introduced gradually after the initial launch.

Which product will be available for pre-order first?

The YARI V6X Flight Controller will be the first product to go on pre-order. It is our modular flight controller platform designed for serious UAV and robotics builds, with ArduPilot and PX4 support.

Are the other YARI products ready?

R&D for our GNSS modules, ESCs, power modules, and accessories is complete. These products will be introduced slowly after launch so that production, documentation, testing, support, and supply availability can scale responsibly.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes. From launch, we plan to support both India and international orders. Domestic shipments within India are handled through Blue Dart where the destination pincode is serviceable. International shipments are handled through FedEx where the destination country/address is serviceable.

Which currency should I use?

Orders shipping within India are billed in INR. Orders shipping outside India are billed in USD. The final checkout currency is determined by the shipping country. Please make sure the currency and shipping country match before placing an order.

Are your products designed and built in India?

Yes. For products marked Designed and Built in India, significant manufacturing value add happens in India. This can include PCB fabrication, PCB assembly, final assembly, testing, packaging, and related manufacturing operations through our India-based network. Electronic components such as ICs, passives, and semiconductors may be globally sourced based on availability and technical requirements.

Some lower-cost future products may use the phrase Designed in India. These products will primarily be for hobbyists and budget-conscious builders who need affordable hardware options. This means design and final assembly are done in India, while significant manufacturing may happen overseas. We use precise origin language on product pages so buyers can understand the actual design, assembly, testing, and manufacturing value add behind each product.

How does YARI relate to Indian-IDDM, Defence Atmanirbharta, and Atmanirbhar Bharat?

YARI Robotics is building a stronger India-based drone electronics ecosystem in the spirit of Atmanirbhar Bharat (Self-Reliant India) and Defence Atmanirbharta. For products marked Designed and Built in India, significant manufacturing value add happens in India through our design, development, assembly, testing, packaging, and India-based manufacturing network.

Indian-IDDM stands for Indigenously Designed, Developed, and Manufactured. While we use Indian design/build language carefully, our long-term direction is to increase Indian engineering and manufacturing depth in drone electronics wherever technically and commercially practical.

Are your products tested in accredited labs?

Where applicable, YARI products are tested in NABL-accredited laboratories. The YARI V6X Flight Controller has cleared environmental testing and EMI/EMC testing in NABL-accredited labs. Detailed test conditions, standards, and report summaries will be shared through product documentation where applicable.

What product certifications do you have?

The YARI V6X Flight Controller has cleared environmental and EMI/EMC testing in NABL-accredited labs. We plan to apply for CE/FCC certifications in 2027. Product pages and documentation will describe available lab, pre-compliance, and internal validation results where applicable.

Are YARI products NDAA-compliant or Blue UAS listed?

No. YARI products are not currently NDAA-compliant or Blue UAS listed. Our current focus is on transparent engineering, India-based design/build, practical documentation, and testing in NABL-accredited labs where applicable.

Do your flight controllers support ArduPilot and PX4?

Yes. The YARI V6X Flight Controller is designed to support both ArduPilot and PX4. Please refer to the documentation site for firmware, setup, pinout, and integration guidance.

Do you test products with ArduPilot and PX4 firmware?

Yes. For YARI products that require ArduPilot or PX4 firmware support, we create dedicated YARI board files, driver configuration, or integration changes as needed and test them using the latest stable firmware. This can include flight controllers, GNSS modules, sensors, and other supported hardware.

Where live validation is required, our process includes flight testing or hardware-in-loop/bench testing as appropriate for the product type. For upstream firmware support, we raise pull requests with test logs, flight logs where applicable, and supporting evidence. These pull requests are reviewed by project maintainers before being merged.

This helps ensure YARI hardware support is available through standard ArduPilot and PX4 firmware workflows rather than relying only on private or temporary builds.

Where can I find documentation?

Product documentation, setup notes, pinouts, and integration guides are available at docs.stage.yarirobotics.com. Documentation will continue to expand as products move from pre-order to wider release.

What is the minimum order quantity?

The minimum order quantity is 1 unit for standard website orders.

What are your payment terms?

Website orders are processed on 100% advance payment. We do not offer Cash on Delivery (COD).

Why are INR and USD prices not exact currency conversions?

Our product prices are first set in USD as the base price. INR prices are reviewed on a quarterly basis to account for foreign exchange movement, so INR and USD prices may not always be exact live conversions of each other. This helps us provide more stable prices instead of changing prices every time exchange rates move.

USD prices may also be reviewed quarterly to account for supply-chain changes, component shortages, and increases in key component costs. For example, if exchange rates move from about INR 85 per USD to about INR 95 per USD, and a critical IMU component increases from USD 5 to USD 15 while a product uses three IMUs, the final product cost changes significantly. Similar cost movement can happen across connectors, sensors, PCBs, enclosures, logistics, and other components.

Do you offer volume discounts?

Yes. Volume discounts may be available for 10+ units, subject to product availability and order scope. Please write to sales@stage.yarirobotics.com.

Can I get free product samples for testing?

We are currently a small startup and cannot offer free samples. We recommend ordering a single unit for evaluation when products become available. For institutional, research, or volume discussions, please write to sales@stage.yarirobotics.com.

Do you provide warranty and RMA support?

Yes. Warranty and RMA support will be handled through an approval-based RMA process. Warranty eligibility depends on the product condition, proof of purchase, warranty registration where applicable, and whether warranty stickers are intact. Damage from water, ESD, crash, incorrect wiring, modification, misuse, or other excluded causes is not covered.

Can I return a product after delivery?

We do not accept general returns after delivery. If you need to cancel an order, the best time to do so is before the order is shipped. Please review our Returns, Refunds and Warranty Policy for details.

Do your PCBs have conformal coating?

No. Our boards are not conformal coated by default. The need for conformal coating depends on the operating environment and end-use application.

As part of environmental testing, the non-conformal-coated YARI V6X was subjected to 95% RH for 2 cycles over 48 hours at 40 C, with no damage observed. This indicates the product can survive short-term adverse humidity exposure, but long-term humidity exposure is not advised without conformal coating or suitable environmental protection.

Applying conformal coating or modifying the product may void warranty, especially if it affects components, connectors, labels, inspection, or warranty stickers.

Do you offer white labelling?

No. We do not currently offer white labelling. Where possible, we provide mechanical files such as STEP/STL resources through documentation so customers can design compatible mounts or enclosures for their own integrations.

Do you use NXP MCUs in your products?

No. Our current products use STM32 MCUs. At present, ArduPilot, Betaflight, and INAV do not support NXP targets broadly in the same way STM32 targets are supported. If ecosystem support changes in the future, we may evaluate NXP-based products.
