YARI Robotics is a bootstrapped drone electronics company based in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India, building flight controllers, GNSS/RTK modules, power modules, ESCs, sensors, and integration accessories for UAV, robotics, research, commercial, and hobbyist teams.
Who We Are
Founded in 2024 in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India, YARI Robotics develops electronics hardware for drones, rovers, and other unmanned robotics platforms. Our goal is to build a stronger India-based drone electronics ecosystem with reliable flight controllers, navigation modules, power electronics, ESCs, sensors, and accessories that engineers can actually integrate, test, and ship.
We are a bootstrapped company, so we care deeply about focus. Rather than launching a large catalogue all at once, we are bringing products to market in a controlled way, starting with the YARI V6X Flight Controller pre-order during the planned India and global launch in August 2026.
What We Build
Our product stack covers drone flight controllers, GNSS/RTK modules, power modules, ESCs, sensors, and integration accessories. The YARI V6X Flight Controller will launch first. R&D for other products is complete, and those products will be introduced gradually as production, documentation, testing, and support capacity scale.
We support the open-source ecosystem and align with widely used projects and standards such as Pixhawk, ArduPilot, PX4 Autopilot, Betaflight, INAV, AM32, and related robotics tooling. This helps customers integrate faster and gives developers a practical path from prototype to field use.
Designed And Built In India
When we say Designed and Built in India, we mean significant manufacturing value add happens in India. Depending on the product, this can include PCB fabrication, PCB assembly, final assembly, testing, packaging, and related manufacturing operations through our India-based network. This direction aligns with the spirit of Atmanirbhar Bharat (Self-Reliant India), Defence Atmanirbharta, and Indian-IDDM priorities, where Indian-IDDM stands for Indigenously Designed, Developed, and Manufactured. Electronic components such as ICs, passives, and semiconductors may be globally sourced based on availability and technical requirements.
Some lower-cost future products may use the phrase Designed in India. These products will primarily be for hobbyists and budget-conscious builders who need affordable hardware options. This means design and final assembly are done in India, while significant manufacturing may happen overseas. We avoid using phrases such as Made in India or Make in India on the website to prevent confusion.
Testing And Documentation
We combine internal validation with external lab testing where applicable. The YARI V6X Flight Controller has cleared environmental and EMI/EMC testing in NABL-accredited labs, and we plan to apply for CE/FCC certifications in 2027.
We also believe documentation is part of the product. Setup notes, pinouts, firmware guidance, mechanical files, and integration references will continue to expand through our documentation site as products move from pre-order to wider release.
Building With The Community
We have been sharing our progress publicly on social channels for more than a year, including design updates, test progress, product previews, and launch preparation. That public build process has helped us receive feedback from developers, researchers, hobbyists, and industry users before launch.
We are grateful for the support from the open-source, robotics, UAV, and electronics communities that has shaped our product direction. YARI Robotics is being built for teams who care about reliable hardware, clear documentation, and practical engineering claims.
What YARI Means
